Is it just me or has this intersection become an irritating back up of congestion either because of the tourists not paying attention and stopping, thinking it's a 4-way stop, and/or because the groups walking across the street don't stick together, but create a long train that blocks the entire intersection so no cars can do anything. And by the time they're done crossing, cars still can't go because there is another group of people needing to cross. I don't remember it being a problem before Aulani opened. There needs to be either a light (which would be awful, but helpful) or a walkway bridge for people to cross. |
