Maui News: Obama fundraiser set for after APEC

KAPOLEI, Oahu (AP) - President Barack Obama will hold a campaign fundraiser in Hawaii following next week's Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit.

Obama will host a brunch at the Walt Disney Co.'s new Hawaiian resort Aulani.

Aulani spokesman Todd Apo says the event will be Nov. 14, a day after leaders from 21 APEC economies meet at the Ihilani JW Marriott resort, located next door to the Disney property.

Aulani, which opened in August, is located at Ko Olina Resort in West Oahu.
