Law Enforcement and Public Safety Agencies Announce Security Restrictions for the National Special Security Event, 2011 Asia – Pacific Economic Cooperation- Economic Leaders’ Meeting, November 12-13.

The Asia – Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Meeting will take place on Saturday, November 12, 2011, at the Hale Koa Hotel and Sunday, November 13, 2011 at the J.W. Marriott Ihilani in Ko Olina. Security and transportation restrictions have been coordinated to ensure the safety and security of the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting leaders and delegates.

Every effort has been made to minimize the impact of these safety measures. The public’s cooperation and patience is appreciated during this time. Road closures, parking restrictions, and changes to public transportation routes and public works services will be necessary during the APEC Economic Leaders’ meetings beginning the evening of November 11 through November 13.
