Here is some information for the upcoming Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC):

* Conference meetings held November 7th - 13th, 2011
* 15,000+ Visitors including President Barack Obama
* Meetings primarily to be held at the Hawaii Convention Center and hotels in Waikiki and in Ko Olina on Nov. 13th
* Visitors staying primarily in Waikiki


Ways to plan around APEC:

* Plan additional travel time
* Use alternate routes
* Use public transportation when possible — "Take TheBus"
* Monitor daily traffic reports on the radio, TV, and internet
* Sign up to receive City news releases via email
