A neighbor island exclusive for years, Peter Merriman finally opens his first Oahu eatery this year, out in Ko Olina. This second outpost of his popular Monkeypod Kitchen will serve satisfying island- inspired cuisine.

ATTENTION OAHU DINERS: Stop packing your bags to head off to Kamuela ot Kapalua to enjoy Peter Merriman's touted cuisine. This fall, the celebrated chef opends his second Monkeypod Kitchen - the flagship is in Wailea, Maui - with Steven Hessenflow at the helm. The location: Ko Olina (Desperate westside foodies who have no doubt suffered from a lack of top-notch eateries can no rejoice!) His two-level, 10,000 square foot affair will feature an exhibition kitchen, a bar with 36 craft beers on tap, live music and a menu using only local, socially conscious ingredients.
