From time to time, I've reviewed various family travel destinations, including some of the better-known Disney properties in Florida and California. It's no surprise that I'm familiar with these places. Disney owns 6abc and as a cast member under the broad Disney umbrella, my family and I are eligible for perks. These make visiting the theme parks and company hotels more affordable.

After four days of one fabulous food event after another, what better way to close out the Hawaii Food & Wine Festival than on the beach at Aulani? Once again, attendees got to taste dishes from an amazing group of chefs, which included Iron Chef Hiroyuki Sakai, Marcel Vigneron, Susan Spicer, Mourad Lahlou and Seamus Mullen.

Ai Miyazato pocketed $255,000 going 12-under and winning by four shots during April’s inaugural LPGA LOTTE Championship at Ko Olina Golf Club. I rinse 18 bucks work of logo’d balls on a single par-3, with a short iron. Or make that 8-iron, a successful 8-iron. Drop zones are for wimps, and the website tells me "par is a great score" on this hole – with my one-putt that makes my snowman simply pathetic.
