Guests of Ko Olina Resort properties are fortunate being on the leeward side of the island, as it has some of the best weather.
Not that the rest of the island’s weather is too shabby, but the waters are somewhat calmer (great for deep sea fishing, paddle boarding and swimming) but still enough wave action for boogie boarding and surfing.
Hawaii basically has only two seasons - winter (November to March) and summer (April to October). Winter temperatures average 76 to 79 degrees during the day, but can drop 10-15 degrees at night.
Summer temperatures range from 78 to mid 80 degrees and will be slightly cooler in the evening. The ocean water temperatures in winter are about 74 degrees and 81 degrees during the summer. Rainfall is more common during the winter months and averages 2 to 4 inches a month.
