Links to Literacy Golf Tournament at the Ko Olina Golf Club

A Benefit for the Friends of the Library of Hawaii, the Links to Literacy golf tournament at the Ko Olina Golf Club supports ongoing literacy programs at Hawaii’s 51 public libraries.

Net proceeds from Links to Literacy advance the Friends of the Library of Hawaii’s mission to support and promote the Hawaii State Public Library System by encouraging reading, literacy and lifelong learning. The organization raises funds to supplement public library programs not covered by the state budget. In its 16-year history, the golf tournament has netted approximately $1.2 million.

The Links to Literacy organization is passionate about literacy. It is a dream that every child will grow up to be engaged, lifelong readers. Therefore, it is their purpose to provide hands-on literacy learning experiences that will engage children and their families. Literacy is dedicated to developing original, hands-on, literacy classes, workshops, products, and events for children and families.

Links to Literacy provides literacy enrichment activities for children, literacy events, and parent literacy workshops through your school, organization, or at an independent public location. Links to Literacy is committed to providing children and families with current, up-to-date literacy practices through interactive classes, workshops, products, and events
