Position Description:

Maintain commercial systems; identifying repair and/or replacement needs; providing necessary information on the proper uses of the equipment. Must be dependable, report to work as scheduled and on time, and follow all policies regarding attendance. Committed to employee development, coaching and training.

Required Qualifications:

Responsibilities

  • Possesses a basic understanding of electrical schematics as they relate to mechanical systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC plant mechanical /​ environmental control systems and provide basic maintenance
  • Perform varied duties in the areas of carpentry
  • Perform plumbing repairs and installations​
  • Perform inspections and reports deficiencies; performs follow up and repairs
  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends
  • Must be proficient in solving a variety of repair and maintenance-related issues
Desired Qualifications:

Requirements

  • Must have good verbal communication skills
  • Must have a flexible schedule
  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One year or more experience with HVAC installation/repair; or equivalent combination of education and experience
